Description

It was sold new to Erik Eriksson in the small village of Kattisavan outside Lycksele and was almost completely loyal to that municipality until 2009, when it was exported to Ed in Dalsland. During either the seventies or eighties, it was removed from the register but was re-registered in 1992 after a renovation. The current owner bought the car in 2017, has had lots of fun with it, but is not a sentimental owner. Now, it is time for a change of vehicle. The latest and thus last approved inspection was done on May 4, 2017. When the new rules came into effect on April 20, 2018, it was already approved and thus exempt from inspection.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

Starts easily and effortlessly, noticeably mechanically quiet with no valve ticking. Unsynchronized 1st gear with an otherwise fine direct gear feel and low-geared box. The current owner performed a light overhaul of the engine in 2017, including replacement of gaskets, seals, and the timing chain.

  • Interior condition:

The front seats were reupholstered by a saddler during the time with the owner in Ed, Dalsland. Clean and nice feeling inside with good door sides and a patinated, whole, and fine headliner.

  • Exterior condition:

Painted in the early nineties by RS Billack in Lycksele (decal on one of the side windows), some paint residue on trims and seals, but shiny, neat, and presentable.

  • General condition:

Fun, round, and functional Englishman in a reasonably fine condition, ready to drive and prepared for the season.

Facts about the model
