"The car runs exceptionally quietly and smoothly — a truly fine representative of a well-functioning vintage automobile."

Description

A very fine and well-restored Chevrolet that has been in Sweden since 2003. The first owner restored the car meticulously and with great expertise, aiming to preserve it as close to original condition as possible. The interior was newly manufactured according to the original specifications, the car was repainted in its current red color, and both the engine and gearbox were rebuilt at the same time.

Following the restoration, the car was purchased by the current owner and has been used sparingly throughout the years. It has always been stored in a heated garage, and there are no signs of rust anywhere on or in the vehicle.

The engine starts easily and runs very quietly and smoothly. The gearbox, including the non-synchronized first gear, also functions without issue. Naturally, the car is inspected and roadworthy — simply turn the key and head out to summer car meets, graduation celebrations, or other enjoyable occasions.

Facts about the model

The car was imported to Sweden in 2003 and restored by the importer. It was later sold to the current owner in Östersund in the autumn of 2004 and has since been used very sparingly.

The Chevrolet Master was produced between 1933 and 1942 as one of Chevrolet’s more upscale and better-equipped models of the era.
