Description
The first owner in Sweden, based in Jönköping, kept the car for around three years before it was acquired by the current owner. Today’s owner is a true enthusiast of Italian automobiles and has driven the car only about 8,000 kilometers during his six years of ownership.
A substantial amount of documentation accompanies the car, including both German and Swedish records. Considering its age, the car remains in very good condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. There are a few small signs of use, but in our assessment they are entirely negligible.
The car has recently been inspected, initially receiving remarks concerning the front tires, which have since been replaced with new ones. Following this, the car passed its reinspection successfully.

Mechanical condition
The car is well maintained throughout, with all technical functions operating exactly as they should. It is fitted with new front tires, while the rear tires are in good condition and date from 2019. The convertible top functions flawlessly. No warning lights or other indications suggest any faults. Two keys with remote controls are included with the car.

Interior condition
The interior is in consistently fine condition throughout. Minor signs of wear are present on the driver’s seat backrest, associated with entering and exiting the vehicle.

Exterior condition
The paintwork retains a fine and glossy finish. There are only minor stone chips present on the hood and front end. A small area of clear coat peeling can be found on the front bumper, along with a few scratches on the lower section of the right front fender. A handful of additional light scratches are present, though in our assessment most of them should be possible to polish out.
The convertible top is in very fine condition, both inside and out. -
General condition
The car drives like a dream on the road. The refined 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine is perfectly suited to the car, and the handling is superb. Overall, the car feels tight, well-maintained, and thoroughly sorted.
If you want to become an “Alfisti” this summer, this is the model to own.

Facts about the model
The Spider 939 became known for its elegant design, stable road manners, and high level of comfort, although it was heavier than earlier generations of the Spider. During its production run, the model received minor updates before production ended in 2010, with the model line finally discontinued in 2011.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
