Description
Other parts of the car also required welding work, and most of the issues have since been addressed. However, some work still remains to be done, particularly on the right rocker panel and along the lower edge of one of the doors.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Technically in fine and well-maintained condition. The engine and gearbox function flawlessly. New brakes, including brake lines, were fitted in 2022. The tires were also replaced that same year and have only covered a few thousand kilometers since.
A new master cylinder and brake servo have been installed, along with new rear control arms. Everything regarding the instruments and other technical functions is in proper working order. -
Interior condition
Interior in a lovely light color scheme. Clean and intact seat surfaces, although the driver’s seat backrest has received a bit too much sun exposure in certain areas. A cracked dashboard, which is a classic issue on these cars. Nice carpet mats are fitted, though the original rubber flooring underneath is missing.
The headliner and door panels are in fine condition. Some of the trim pieces would benefit from replacement in certain areas. -
Exterior condition
Partially repainted during the 1990s. The then-common method of heavy spray filler has left its marks, as a considerable amount of bubbling can be seen on the car. The roof and trunk lid do not appear to have been repainted, as they are noticeably more matte than the rest of the body.
Very nice bumpers, which we believe are relatively new. Trim pieces and light fixtures are in good condition. The windshield has a few minor stone chips and scratches from the wipers. Rust is present in the rocker panel and along the lower edge of the right-side door. -
General condition
A car that would benefit from some attention to the bodywork. Enjoy it with a few minor improvements, or invest in a repaint — entirely depending on preference, ambition, and taste.
