Porsche 993 Carrera 2 Targa — 1996

• Mechanical condition

  Technically, it can be described as lively, fresh, and in good condition. A sports car with good comfort even for long journeys. There is a lot of documentation, receipts, and other materials detailing what has been done over the years. Everything works excellent.

• Interior condition

  Stylish beige color and very well-preserved. Some wear is visible on the steering wheel, gear lever, rear seat, door panels, and carpets, which are in almost new condition. The front seats have slight patina, as expected after nearly 30 years. The edges of the contoured seats are worn, and the outer part of the upholstery on these has been re-dyed. However, the result has been mediocre, especially in the worn areas.

• Exterior condition

  The color is called Türkisgrünmetallic and was only available this year. It has covered over 150,000 kilometers, resulting in some stone chips on the front and rear fenders (which have a transparent film for this purpose). However, there is nothing wrong with its luster and overall condition. It looks great in terms of glass, wheels, and other exterior parts. There are a couple of minor touch-ups visible near the lower edge of the windshield where there were some small rust spots. A small package of touch-up paint is included.

• General condition

  The 993 was the last air-cooled Porsche, and this generation of the 911 is now 30 years old. However, one can summarize that age has not taken its toll. It remains distinctive as a Porsche should and feels surprisingly modern in its qualities. The Targa model debuted in 1996 and differed from previous models with its electrically operated glass roof. This car represents the first year of this system and was delivered in a unique color for that year. This, combined with its condition and comprehensive documentation, provides a foundation for a reliable car that will offer many happy and carefree miles ahead.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
