This Volvo P1800E was supposed to go to America, but it turned around in the port and ended up in Sweden.
It was completely renovated and repainted 14 years ago and has covered approximately 4500 kilometres since then. It is in excellent condition and runs smoothly. It received four new spindles, spark plugs, ignition parts, and new oil in the engine, gearbox, and rear axle recently. The rear brakes were refurbished, and the brake fluid was replaced at the same time. Clover-aluminium wheels are original.
In other words, a particularly good condition Volvo 1800E that is ready to drive.

Facts about the model
Pelle Petterson var son till Helmer Pettersson, designansvarig på Volvo. Pelle praktiserade i slutet av 1950-talet hos designföretaget Frua i Italien. Hans skisser blev de som Volvo valde när de anlitat Frua för att rita en elegant GT-bil som efterföljare till Volvo Sport (P1900). P1800 presenteras för allmänheten på bilsalongen i Bryssel redan i januari 1960 och byggdes fram till 1972 som coupe´modell. Sedan i ytterligare 1,5 år som sportbackmodell vilken fick namnet P1800 ES.
De första åren pressades plåten i England där även bilarna sattes ihop hos Jensen på licens. Under 1964 flyttades produktionen till Göteborg och bilarna fick ett S tillagt i modellbeteckningen (P1800S). Sammanlagt byggdes cirka 30.000 bilar av P1800, 1800S, 1800E och 1800 ES.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
