The paint shows honest patina, preserved rather than repainted. All four wings are original, with welding repairs carried out where they meet the body. The underbody is very clean with no rust issues (see photos). A selection of spare parts is also included, as shown.
The car was last inspected in 1998 and used locally during summers before being stored in a warm workshop. It will require a new inspection to return to the road, but no major issues are expected and it should pass without difficulty.

Mechanical condition
Engine starts instantly and runs smoothly with no unwanted noises. Easy to drive with a nice gearbox and clutch, good handling, and solid brakes. The engine bay is clean and well maintained, just lightly dusty from storage. The car has been started regularly while stored. Fitted with nice steel wheels, chrome hubcaps, and good, usable tyres.

Interior condition
Interior fully reupholstered with new seats, headliner, side panels, and door cards, all still in great condition. Original seat covers are included. Dashboard is clean with original instrumentation and gauges, including the bakelite light knobs, and an uncracked steering wheel. Also fitted with a heater — a desirable period option.

Exterior condition
Bodywork is straight and solid throughout with no rust issues. The underbody presents very well with no visible damage or rust—see photos.
Paintwork shows an honest, used look, with marks and scratches throughout and a flatter finish, particularly on the passenger door. As typical for the period, this is cellulose paint without clear coat. Personally, it’s best left as is—it suits the car’s 70-year-old character.
Chrome work all round is bright and shiny, with some small dents on the bumpers and areas of light oxidation. A new front bumper chrome part is also included. -
General condition

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
