Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Starts easily and runs smoothly; under acceleration, the engine delivers a satisfyingly deep growl. During a short test drive in a residential area, everything—from steering and the automatic transmission with functioning kickdown to handling and brakes—performed well.
Not inspected on a lift, but what could be observed appeared sound in terms of key components. No remarks have been noted at inspections. -
Interior condition
Attractive and pleasant leather interior with good comfort in both the front and rear seats. There is a seam on the driver’s seat backrest that has come undone. The headliner, door panels, trim, and carpets are in good condition with some signs of use. A thorough detailing would further enhance the overall impression.
The steering wheel, controls, dashboard, and gauges are in good condition. All electrical functions appear to be working properly, except for the longitudinal adjustment of the passenger seat. An aftermarket GPS unit has been installed. The air conditioning functions and blows cold. Some plastic trim pieces are loose, and a few are missing. -
Exterior condition
Appears to be original paintwork with normal signs of use, including minor scratches, scuffs, a few door dings, and stone chips. Glass, trim, emblems, and lighting details are in good condition with some wear. Good wheels showing typical signs of use, fitted with quality all-season tires. Engine bay and luggage compartment are in good, original condition.
-
General condition
A pleasant and attractive mid-size coupé with extra power and most boxes ticked on the options list. It performs well, though there are some details to review and cosmetic items to address. A usable everyday car that, as it approaches its 30th anniversary, may well be ready to step into classic and enthusiast territory—it certainly deserves it.
