Description
It has been well cared for by enthusiastic owners, used ?????usively during the brighter months, and always stored in a heated garage. In recent years, the car has reportedly undergone both preventative and cosmetic work.
The engine and drivetrain have been reviewed, along with refurbishment of trim and details. In addition to routine servicing, both the front and rear suspension have been serviced, as well as the automatic transmission. This year, it received a new battery, new brake discs and pads (Brembo), and a standard service carried out on April 15.
The paint has been continuously treated and protected, including ceramic coating, most recently in 2025.
The service book is fully stamped, with history from BMW and well-regarded workshops. A binder with documentation, receipts for work carried out, and inspection records is also included, along with two keys.
Recently inspected and ready to drive.

Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Started easily and ran smoothly and steadily; under throttle and acceleration, the engine delivered a deep, powerful roar. During a short test drive on smaller country roads, everything—from the steering and the smoothly shifting automatic transmission with functioning kickdown, to the road holding and brakes—performed well. Much has been attended to, and it shows; the car offers a stable and comfortable driving experience, with ample power when called upon.
Not inspected on a lift, but what could be seen and experienced, together with the documented history, gives the impression of a well-kept car underneath as well. -
Interior condition
Very fine and well-preserved interior, with excellent comfort in both the front and rear seats. The leather upholstery, as well as the headliner, door panels, trim, and carpets, all retain a near-new feel. The steering wheel, controls, dashboard, and gauges are in good condition, with the steering wheel having been updated. The original phone is present and functional. CarPlay multimedia system installed, along with the large original sound system (Nokia). All electrical functions operate properly, and the air conditioning blows cold.
-
Exterior condition
Attractive and glossy Le Mans Blue original paintwork, well cared for over the years. Glass, trim, emblems, and lighting details are all in fine condition. New OEM M5 wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The engine bay and luggage compartment are in keeping with the overall condition of the car.
-
General condition
Enjoyable driving in a beautiful and well-kept car, offering a sense of understated luxury while also being a true long-distance cruiser—very much fitting the classic epithet a Gentleman’s Express. A fine enthusiast’s car with collector appeal.
