Condition

  • Mechanical condition

The Mercury runs smoothly and performs well even at today's speeds. It is well-serviced and fully roadworthy. The following items are not functioning: the original radio, the clock, and the speedometer.

  • Interior condition

The interior has been reupholstered and is in very good condition. The current owner has had new carpets made.

  • Exterior condition

An older repaint that has held up well, with minor imperfections present. The convertible top is in good condition both inside and out, with only a small tear on the right side at the bottom. Nice chrome as well as wheels and tires.

  • General condition

A Mercury from 1946 is a true classic! To own and care for such a car requires precision and a passion for history and car culture. Keeping it in this condition would be like preserving a time capsule from that period. From its elegant lines to its robust mechanics, a well-maintained Mercury from 1946 is definitely an impressive sight on the roads today.
