Description
The current owner spotted the Mercedes on a property in Gnesta five years ago. He was interested in buying it, but the owner didn't want to sell because his father had owned the car. However, after some time, he decided to sell it anyway. At the time of purchase, the Mercedes had clocked around 12,000 kilometers and was in very good condition, but some things needed attention. For example, the car got new tires, as the ones on it had been there since 1985. During the current owner's tenure, some repairs have been made, such as replacing the cylinder head gasket and installing a new exhaust system. Oils have also been changed in the engine, gearbox, and driveshaft. According to the owner, all peripherals work, except for the CD player, but including the electrically operated sunroof. A cover for the car is included, and during the current owner's time, the car has always been stored in a garage when not in use and has not been used in bad weather. The Mercedes has mostly been used for "fine driving" and to and from car meets, and the owner has taken good care of it. It has been inspected at the vehicle inspection without any remarks and is due for inspection again in 2026.

The engine and drivetrain run smoothly. The brakes engage evenly and softly. According to the owner, all peripherals function as they should, except for the CD player.

The interior is generally in good condition. The upholstery on the passenger seat is slightly damaged, as shown in the picture. Floor mats and door panels are also in good condition. The headliner is clean and intact.

The paint is in good condition, appearing to be original, but it cannot be ruled out that certain parts may have been repainted. There are some small dents on the left door, as shown in the picture. Some minor rust spots are visible, primarily in the panel edges in front of the rear wheels. The chrome work is in good condition.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
