This Fiat 500 car is a more rare variation, being a regular coupe 1950.
The majority of Swedish-sold Topolinos with metal roofs were sold in colder climates. In the Fiat Classic Club's 2018 register, there are 103 - 500 C convertibles but only 3 - 500 C coupes, which was most likely the case even with new sales due to the price differential. A coupe was presumably far more expensive than a convertible at the time, thus the handful that were sold most likely travelled to locations with many negative degrees and a lot of snow, exactly like this copy. The car is a partly started renovation object with a lifted body. Many parts are included, however others are also missing. Much of what is missing can now be bought, old parts are frequently available for purchase.
Included are an old registration document and a matching ID plate.

The body is a restoration project for Fiat 500 C fans. Parts may be missing, but much is still loose in boxes, as shown in the photographs.
Facts about the model
1936 presenterade Fiat sin minsta modell 500 som fick smeknamnet "Topolino", liten mus på italienska. Bilen som bara vägde 600 kilo rymde två personer och saknade bagagelucka. Men för dessa var det gott om plats. Det var en riktig bil med vattenkyld fyrcylindrig motor, synkroniserad låda och individuell framvagnsupphängning. Topolino kom i två versioner – med stort öppningsbart tygtak eller som täckt.
1948 kom den uppdaterade 500B med toppventilsmotor, samtidigt kompletterades modellserien med en kombivariant med ett litet baksäte. Redan året efter var tiden kommen för 500C som fick bagagelucka. C tillverkades ända till 1955 när den ersattes av den aningen större 600 med svansmotor.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
