"The car runs and drives very well, having just traveled 150 km to our depot without any issues. It starts directly with a good sounding engine, features easy gear shifting, and has effective brakes that need slight adjustment—they pull a little to the right under hard braking. Additionally, it offers good road handling, making it a pleasant car to drive.."

Description

This car boasts a remarkable history, having been purchased new by the Nilsson family in Luleå in 1964 and remaining with them until 2020. All documentation has been meticulously preserved since the car was new. It was stored in a warm garage for 32 years, contributing significantly to its excellent condition. The current owner acquired it from BWA over three years ago. At that time, the car required extensive work due to many years of inactivity. The owner has invested considerable time and money to restore it to a superb running condition. Key replacements include the brake system, a new fuel tank, fuel system components, a new cylinder head, all rubber pipes/hoses, front bushes, and all new gaskets. The engine was also repainted, resulting in a clean and tidy engine bay. The car's bodywork and interior remain as they were when purchased, reflecting its cherished status and careful maintenance.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

As mentioned, the brakes require some adjustment, but other than that, the car runs and drives smoothly. It has undergone numerous major repairs, making it an easy car to own and operate. Additionally, it is exempt from inspections forever—simply turn the key and drive it home.

  • Interior condition

Original interior is in fantastic and well-maintained condition, though the driver's seat has a small rip on the side and is missing 8cm of the plastic rib on the seat, as you can see in the pictures. Those are the only issues worth mentioning—the car even has a working radio.

  • Exterior condition

The car features fine, old original paintwork, although there are some paint cracks on the bonnet and wings, as visible in the pictures. The right front wing and tailgate have been repainted. The chrome is in good condition, and it retains the original wheels and hub caps, which are undented and paired with good tires. The bodywork is straight, free from rust issues, and the underbody is clean with only slight surface rust, showing no signs of damage.

  • General condition

This wonderful car retains its original charm, runs well, and comes with a wealth of original paperwork and history. It's poised to make the new owner very happy for many years to come.
