Volvo 544 F Sport B20 — 1965

• Mechanical condition

  After driving the car for 30 minutes, I can confidently say there are no mechanical issues that need addressing. It drives beautifully, free from any rumbling sounds, with a sharp gearbox and good brakes, and it easily keeps pace with modern cars. There is a slight dampness near the valve gaskets that just requires a minor adjustment, and the speedometer cable needs replacing. Other than that, the car is equipped with nice wheels and tires

• Interior condition

  The interior is in excellent condition, appearing as though the seats have been reupholstered. It features newer door cards, a refreshed dashboard top, and a headliner along with rubber floor mats. The only minor issue is a small hole in the vinyl on the back of the driver's seat, as indicated in the pictures. The dashboard and gauges are well-maintained, and an additional speaker has been installed in the parcel shelf.

• Exterior condition

  Bodywork is straight, rust-free, and undamaged, with a matching underbody. The paintwork is shiny and clean, also without any damage. The boot space is very tidy, showing no signs of strange welding or rust. The chrome detailing throughout is bright and well-maintained. It's fitted with American bumpers, although there is a slight dent and some surface rust on the rear right corner, which is hard to notice unless specifically looked for, as detailed in the pictures.

• General condition

  This car is ideal for a Volvo enthusiast, having been properly renovated and owned by someone with extensive knowledge of these cars. After driving it, one can't help but wish Volvo had equipped all later PV sport models with a B20 engine. It's in turnkey condition, ready to be driven straight to the next car show.

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. • During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
