Description
It was delivered to its first owner in Helsingborg and registered for road use in May 2006 by Yamaha Center, the local dealer in the same city. The first owner used the motorcycle carefully for almost nine years before it passed to its next owner in Kristianstad, who kept it for a further nine years until 2024, when the current owner acquired the bike. Since then, it has seen very little use, covering no more than 110 kilometres in total, and it is now ready for its next custodian.
The most recent approved inspection was carried out on 8 April 2024. As a result, the motorcycle is currently not road legal due to expired inspection status.

The engine, gearbox, clutch, and brakes all perform as they should, with no issues noted. The motorcycle comes with a well-documented service history, complete with maintenance records and service book. A straight-pipe exhaust system is included for those who feel the standard setup lacks a sufficiently strong and throaty soundtrack. The current owner does not share that opinion.

Facts about the model
Introduced in 2006 as Yamaha’s flagship cruiser, the model was designed by an American development team to challenge Harley-Davidson on its home turf. It quickly became known for combining modern engineering with classic streamliner Art Deco styling inspired by the 1930s.
When launched in 2006, the motorcycle carried different names depending on the market. In Europe it was known as the Midnight Star, while in the United States—under Yamaha’s Star Motorcycles cruiser division—it was sold as the Roadliner (standard version) and Stratoliner (touring version with windscreen and luggage).
The model was powered by a large air-cooled 1,854 cc (113 cubic inch) V-twin engine. Maximum torque was delivered at a low 2,500 rpm. Unlike many traditional cruisers of the period, the XV1900 was built around a modern and lightweight aluminium frame, giving it surprisingly agile handling despite its size.
The model was updated in 2011, and its official name was standardised as the XV1900A Midnight Star. Production continued until 2016, when it was gradually phased out as environmental and emissions regulations became stricter worldwide and market demand shifted away from heavyweight cruisers toward other motorcycle segments.
