"A somewhat rarer version of the Saab 9-3, the Coupé model offers a more distinctive and sporting appearance than the five-door variant, according to many enthusiasts. This example presents in very good driver-quality condition, with all technical functions operating as intended. A lot of car for the money and an appealing modern classic with growing enthusiast interest."

Description

This Saab 9-3 Coupé was first registered on 31 October 2001 and has spent most of its life in the Linköping and Halmstad areas. The current owner purchased the car in the summer of 2020, when the odometer showed approximately 185,000 km. Since then, it has covered only around 7,000 km, reflecting light and careful use.

The car has been regularly serviced by authorised Saab workshops for much of its life. In more recent years, maintenance has been carried out by the current owner, primarily consisting of routine oil and filter changes. The car drives exceptionally well, with the 205 hp engine delivering strong performance and smooth power delivery.

A recent inspection was carried out on 4 June 2026, which the car passed without any remarks. The only advisory note concerned light surface rust on the relatively new brake discs, a result of the car having seen very limited use in recent times.

The vehicle has been garage-kept for many years and has not been driven during winter in recent years. It is also well equipped, featuring leather upholstery, electric seats, an upgraded stereo system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, climate control, a tow bar, and a range of other desirable features.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

The car has recently passed inspection, meaning all safety-related systems have been checked and found to be in proper working order. The gauges, instruments, and other technical functions also operate as intended. It is fitted with attractive alloy wheels and Continental tyres with good remaining tread depth, although the tyres date from 2017. A detachable tow bar is fitted, adding to the car’s practicality. The vehicle is supplied with two keys.

  • Interior condition

The interior presents very well overall, with only minor wear visible on the driver's seat as shown in the photographs. A light refurbishment of the leather would further enhance the cabin’s overall appearance. The luggage compartment is clean, tidy, and well maintained, reflecting the car’s careful ownership.

  • Exterior condition

The paintwork retains a good shine, although a thorough detailing and polishing would further enhance its overall appearance. There are a number of minor scratches that should respond well to polishing, along with some small stone chips consistent with the car’s age and mileage. Three minor parking dents can be seen on the right-hand side door area. The bumpers, glass surfaces, and lighting units are all in good condition.

  • General condition

Considering its age and mileage, this is a very well-maintained car that still delivers the performance and comfort one would expect from a Saab Aero.
