Facts about the model
The Mustang was offered with two engine options: a 3.8-litre V6 producing approximately 145 horsepower and a 5.0-litre V8 delivering around 215 horsepower in the popular GT model. Buyers could choose between a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic transmission, with power sent to the rear wheels. Both coupé and convertible body styles were available.
The 1994 Mustang GT has become particularly appreciated among enthusiasts due to its classic 5.0-litre V8 engine. The 1994 and 1995 model years were the last Mustangs to feature this powerplant before Ford replaced it with a new 4.6-litre V8 in 1996. Today, GT and Cobra variants are especially sought after by collectors, and well-preserved, low-mileage examples have seen increasing values. At the same time, there remains excellent availability of both replacement and performance parts, making the model attractive to collectors and enthusiasts alike.
