Description
The previous owner of this very fine and well-restored Mercedes is a car body repair specialist. He had begun the restoration of the car, but his son took over in 2019. There was still much left to do on the Mercedes apart from rust repair and painting. The current owner continued in the same spirit, renovating, replacing, and checking the remaining parts such as bushings, the brake system, front and rear suspension, drivetrain, and more. The front and rear seats were reupholstered by a saddler, receiving new black leather upholstery. The car is equipped with CMS wheels fitted with almost new tires with good tread depth.

Easy to start and sounds right. Runs well in both engine and drivetrain. Clean and neat in the engine bay.

Interior condition
The interior is in good condition. The front seats and rear seat have been reupholstered in black leather. The door panels, floor mats, headliner, and dashboard are also in good condition.

Professionally painted in 2017. The paint is in very good and fine condition. The trim under the radiator grille is missing, see picture. The left side mirror lacks an adjustment lever. The seals are in good condition.

A Mercedes 190 E in a somewhat styled version. Here in a good, renovated, and clean condition. The car is inspected and ready to drive.

Facts about the model
The Mercedes-Benz 190 (W201) was manufactured between 1982 and 1993. Mercedes’ compact car was introduced in December 1982 and was offered in Sweden as the 1984 model. The model sparked interest from the start as it was the first time Mercedes entered the small compact class. The car was offered with both petrol and diesel engines. It received a good reception and, over time, became an appreciated model that laid the foundation for Mercedes-Benz’s volume series, the C-Class. Production totaled 1,879,629 units.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
