We have now obtained additional information, as well as more photographs of the undercarriage and interior, from the owner's representative.
The interior is completely original, showing normal wear to the seats consistent with its age. The undercarriage is very well preserved. The car has only been driven during the summer months since it was imported to Sweden in 2010.
The paintwork is believed to be the original cellulose lacquer. In some areas, polishing has worn through the paint down to the primer, including on the trunk lid.
All information we have now received indicates that the car remains in unrestored original condition, with minor imperfections resulting from normal use and age.
The car was imported in 2010 by Ivars Bilmuseum in Hoting. It originates from West Virginia, USA. It remained on display at the museum until 2014, when it was purchased by a car enthusiast living in Storseleby, a small locality in Västerbotten County, Sweden.
The new owner appreciated the car's genuine original character and continued to use it in its untouched condition.
The owner has since passed away, and the vehicle is being sold on behalf of the deceased owner's estate.
This is a remote auction. The photographs and information regarding the vehicle and its mechanical condition have been provided by the owner. Bilweb Auctions has therefore not conducted an on-site inspection of the vehicle at the seller's premises.

Mechanical condition
The car is powered by a 4.3-liter inline eight-cylinder engine producing 130 horsepower, better known as the 263 cubic inch Fireball 8. The transmission is a Dynaflow two-speed automatic gearbox.
The electrical system remains original, featuring a 6-volt positive-ground setup. According to information provided by the owner's representative, the windshield wipers, cabin heater fan, vehicle lighting, and other electrical equipment are all in working order. -
Interior condition
The interior is original and shows signs of wear consistent with age. The headliner is in very good condition, and the dashboard remains in well-preserved, unmodified condition.
A modern car radio has been installed beneath the dashboard but can easily be removed by anyone wishing to return the car to a more original appearance.
The interior appears largely untouched, with no obvious modifications or signs of improper alterations. In the initial photographs, the seats were covered with protective seat covers and blankets. We have since received additional information and photographs confirming that the seats retain their original upholstery, showing normal age-related wear. There are also some minor tears and imperfections in the upholstery. -
Exterior condition
The paintwork is believed to be the original cellulose lacquer. In certain areas, repeated polishing has worn through the paint down to the primer. The finish has also faded from prolonged sun exposure, and there is some surface rust where the paint has faded or been polished away, for example on the trunk lid.
The paint exhibits cracking in several areas, including along the left-hand side of the car, where surface rust has developed. The chrome trim is in well-used condition, showing signs of oxidation and surface rust. The front bumper has been the most exposed to the elements over the years, while the rear bumper has fared somewhat better.
The car is fitted with Coker Classic Whitewall tires on all four corners. We believe these tires were installed new when the vehicle was imported to Sweden in 2010.
Overall, the exterior is in honest, driver-quality condition and can be enjoyed without concern over minor cosmetic blemishes. The appearance could be improved with relatively modest effort; a thorough wash, some localized paint touch-ups, and a careful polish would quickly enhance the car’s presentation.
Based on the photographs provided, the undercarriage appears to be in good condition. -
General condition
An unusual car on Swedish roads, offered here in good running and driving condition. Whether you choose to restore it or simply enjoy it as it is, the decision is entirely up to the next owner.

Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
