Land Rover Defender 90 2.4TD — 2007

• Mechanical condition

  Starts up instantly and the engine runs well, with no strange noises or warning lights. It performed nicely on the test drive—balanced handling, smooth gear changes, and solid brakes. Wheels and tyres are in good condition. The car will be delivered with a fresh inspection, already booked for next week.

• Interior condition

  Interior is clean and tidy—simple, robust, and refreshingly free of extras like electric windows or AC, which also means fewer things to go wrong. The rubber flooring shows wear on the driver’s side, along with some worn areas around the centre console (see pictures). The seats are complete with only a few marks from use. The radio code is missing but can be easily retrieved from a Land Rover dealer.

• Exterior condition

  This Land Rover hasn’t had a hard life—the bodywork is straight with just a small soft dent on the front panel under the left indicator. It’s held up well against rust, with only a few blisters around the windscreen frame and rear door (see pictures)—a common issue on these. The underbody is solid and undamaged, with only light surface rust on some components. A proper underseal every few years is always a good idea to keep things in shape.
  
  The paintwork is bright and presentable, with some light scratches and marks from use (see pictures). The canvas roof is complete but has a small hole above the driver’s door and another one in the middle. Both are easy and relatively inexpensive to repair or replace.

• General condition

  It’s already considered a future classic and has become hugely popular with enthusiasts around the world. Prices are steadily climbing, so now’s the perfect time to grab one and start your own adventures.

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
