This car has had three owners since January 13, 1959, with the most recent being in 1984. It has been used and carefully cared for throughout the years, and it now has a lovely patina. Working indicator arrows, chrome wheel hubcaps, nice rear-view mirrors, and, of course, the sunroof add to the nostalgic ambiance. Original instruction book, service booklet, and accessories are included. The vehicle has been inspected/MOT for the final time. The metre reads 15460 km, and we believe the automobile has travelled 115,460 km but cannot confirm it.

Runs well but jerks a little at 60 km / h. A cylinder has lower compression. Otherwise, it works well and brakes and shifts impeccably.

Interior condition
More than sixty years have left their mark, with fixed ceilings and textile mats in good shape, probably having been updated throughout the years. The seats are in good shape.

Exterior condition
Paint, glass and chrome in patinated condition. The sunroof works well and is in very good condition. There are rust patches under and near the footsteps.

A well-functioning and used Bubbla in "untouched" patinated original condition, but has had various repairs and maintenance carried out over the years.

Facts about the model
Det finns spaltmil skrivna om historiken kring VW 1200, allt från projektets start under 30-talet, hur engelska soldater drog igång verksamheten efter andra världskriget och hur de första vagnarna letade sig till Sverige och Scania Vabis 1948. Så vi hoppar raskt vidare tio år till 1958. Då kom bl.a. en större "rektangulär" bakruta, ändrad radiogrill, riktig pedal till gasen samt mindre framlyktor. Året efter infördes bl.a. polstrat solskydd, kromad signalring till ratten samt tryckknapp på dörrhandtag, vilket kan betyda att det här exemplaret är en 58:a som har registrerats som en 59:a, då de senare uppdateringarna inte finns. Oavsett, så avslutar VW 50-talet i härlig stil.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
