The acclaimed Northstar engine—a transversely mounted V8 with front-wheel drive—starts easily and runs smoothly. On a short test drive through a residential area, the car felt quiet and refined, with everything—steering, handling, automatic transmission, brakes, and so on—performing flawlessly. The air suspension adds to the comfort.

  • Interior condition:

The interior is in fine, well-preserved condition with leather upholstery, fabric floor mats, and wood trim. The seats and rear bench show only mild wear and offer excellent comfort. Door panels, interior trim, headliner, and carpets are all in good shape. The steering wheel, controls, dashboard, and gauges are in proper working order. All electrical features appear to function well, including the sunroof. The air conditioning blows cold.

  • Exterior condition:

Elegant dark blue paintwork that is glossy and well-preserved. Chrome, glass, trim, emblems, and lighting components are all in very good condition. Attractive wheels in gray and chrome, matched with equally fine tires. Overall, the car presents beautifully—consistent with its age and mileage. The engine bay and trunk are also clean and well-kept.

  • General condition:

This car offers a well-balanced blend of American, European, and Japanese premium qualities. It delivers business-class comfort, solid performance, and confident road manners—all wrapped in a package of refined build quality. It was a success in precisely these markets thanks to that combination.

Now, nearly 30 years later, it’s on the verge of becoming a classic. In this condition, with its documented history and exclusive period-correct features, the car represents a sound investment for anyone looking for a modern enthusiast vehicle from one of the great names in automotive history.
