Description
This car was rust free, and unusually straight and fine body (see picture) when it came to Sweden in the spring of 2005. The owner registered the car and drove a summer before he decided to paint the car. When the owner is an airplane technician nothing was left to chance, or was left undone. The whole car was dismantled and renovated down to the finest detail. Frame and body were shot blasted and everything was painted in parts, professionally detailed to correspond to its original condition. The car registration was inspected by classic car insurance valuer and conformed to its original standard.
The following are performed: Refurbished frame, front axle, control arms, brakes, rims, tires (235x75x15), engine, clutch, middle axle, rear axle, suspension, shock absorbers, exhaust system, cooling & heating system, fuel tank, electrical system (tygomspunnet as original). New side windows and Rear window, Interior, rubber strips, etc. The car is ready to drive home. Engine: 292 Y-Block. Gearbox: 4VXL. Manual. Rear axle: 9 "3:0 UTV.
The result speaks for itself. The only thing in note we could find was a crack in the glass on the right side vent window. All surfaces, sheet metal sections and joints are so fine that the car is equivalent (or probably finer) than when it was new.
The original engine was a straight 6 with a 101 HP. This replaced during the renovation period with a V8: A, 292 Y-blocks that sits in the car. The original engine can be purchased separately if the purchaser so desires

Facts about the model
The Ford F-Series was redesigned by Ford for 1953, for the second generation (1953-1956), with a more integrated look. The pickups also obtained their widely familiar names: The F-1 now became the F-100. Optional interior amenities were new, including a dome light, lighter, arm rests, sun visors and a radio. Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission became an option. Increased dimensions, improved engines, and an updated chassis were features of the second generation. Centered around a wraparound windshield, the cab was given new doors, a redesigned dashboard, and an (optional) panoramic rear window). In line with Ford cars, the 1956 F-Series offered seat belts as an option.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
