"Pleasant Saab that runs excellently and makes a great impression both inside and out. The car is responsive, drives smoothly, and shifts gears effortlessly."

Description

The Saab was sold new in 2003 to a man in Åkersberga, who drove it until 2024 when, at the age of 98, he sold it. The current owner, a great Saab enthusiast, purchased the car last year intending to keep it as a hobby vehicle. However, an upcoming move means there is no longer space for this Saab.

According to information provided, the car has been regularly serviced.

Facts about the model

With the Saab 9-3, Saab adopted the same model designation style as the 9-5. The new 9-3 was a further development of Saab’s 900 version, which had been introduced as the 1993 model year.

The first generation of the new 9-3, produced between 1998 and 2003, was essentially a facelift of the earlier 900 model. It featured redesigned bumpers, a new grille, and a revised rear end, partly following a similar concept to the larger 9-5 model. The chassis and crash safety were also updated.

Available body styles included three- and five-door hatchbacks, as well as a popular Convertible. In addition, Saab produced a potent special edition, the Viggen.

The 9-3 was a relatively popular mid-size car, both practical and enjoyable to drive, offering fine handling characteristics and the classic Saab feel.
