Description
Verner Andersson was a well-known and skilled mechanic who ran his own automotive workshop in Värends Nöbbele, south of Växjö. He had a great interest in classic cars, particularly Fiat. He purchased this car from Hörby in the early 1980s as a restoration project.
The car was dismantled, all rust was repaired, and the mechanical components were refurbished. The Fiat was completed and passed its registration inspection in June 1982. After that, it was used extensively during the summer months by him and his wife. Several long journeys were made, including trips to Italy and Finland (see the decals on the rear window).
Throughout his lifetime, he restored several cars, including the red Topolino that is also for sale in this auction.
After his passing in 2003, his son inherited the car, and it has been used very sparingly since then. He would now like to see a Fiat enthusiast take over ownership.

Mechanical condition
The car has been used and well maintained since the restoration. The engine runs nicely and the gearbox shifts smoothly. Due to road conditions, no extended test drive was carried out, but from what I could assess, everything functioned well.

Interior condition
The interior is complete and in good condition, with normal signs of use since the restoration. It would benefit from a detailing, as there are some stains on the upholstery. Retractable seat belts have been installed.

Exterior condition
The paint has held up well for around 40 years. It has a few minor blemishes and some surface rust at the lower edge of the driver’s door, but is overall in perfectly acceptable condition. The chrome shows some pitting and wear. The car has good tires mounted on the original wheels.

General condition
A very rare Fiat Coupé, with only a handful preserved in Sweden — the chance of encountering another one at a car meet this summer is extremely small.

Founded as early as 1921, Viotti was an Italian coachbuilder known for elegant, custom-built bodies for various Fiat and Lancia models, including station wagons and coupés.
“Fiat 600 Viotti” is a collective name for these coachbuilt versions — rare, hand-crafted conversions built on the Fiat 600 platform, featuring revised body lines, refined proportions, and exclusive details.

For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
