Description
The car comes from Sandahls' collection, which Bilweb Auctions AB will be selling in early spring under four different themes: first, some of the family's popular workhorses, mainly Mercedes and Volkswagen, then a half-dozen exclusive Rolls-Royce and Jaguar models, followed by a selection of early Ford cars and a Chevrolet from the early days of motoring. Finally, there will be nine different award-winning and representative full-size USA cars from 1959, the year when tailfins were at their largest.
Sandahls is today one of Sweden's largest family-owned transport companies. The company was founded in Värnamo in 1949. Older generations have collected around 40 cars under various themes in their private museum over many years. Bilweb Auctions AB has now been given the task and honor of selling these cars in four installments in February and March this year.

Mechanical condition
The car recently underwent a basic startup service with a new battery, starting and running smoothly in the engine and gearbox. However, the brakes need a full review and service, possibly requiring the replacement of the ABS and rings due to an ABS warning light. Other warning lights are related to light bulbs. The wheels are in good shape, with older tires, last inspected on January 25, 2021. Before the next inspection, a thorough service and review is required.

Interior condition
The interior is truly impressive, given the car's mileage of 320,000km; it appears more like it has only covered 100,000km. The seats, door cards, carpets, and headliner are all in a great, undamaged condition. The dashboard is clean and boasts good instrumentation with no pixelation on the displays. However, there are issues with the passenger electric side mirror cracked glass and is not functioning. Additionally, there's a stone chip on the windscreen.

Exterior condition
The bodywork is impressively straight and clean, surprisingly devoid of rust, and the underbody remains tidy and undamaged. The paintwork has been well-maintained and retains its brightness, although there are a few minor, age-related stone chips and scratches.

General condition
This is a remarkable example of German quality that still has many miles to offer. With a full service and brake review, it can quickly get back on the road and provide enjoyment for many more years to come.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
