Description
The bike comes with a full set of keys, the original handbooks, and is fitted with BMW double-sided storage boxes. The bike is in great condition with no dents or damages, only some standard paint flaking around the engine.
The owners family mentioned that at some stage the previous owner had slipped off the bike on a gravel road. This caused small scuffs on the left engine guard frame, and he repaired the wing mirror and fixed the cracked plastic near the wind deflector.

Mechanical condition
The bike fires up instantly using the electric starter, and with a touch of choke it settles into a smooth idle after a few minutes of warming from cold. It’s easy to ride, even though it was only test-ridden a short distance due to icy roads. The gearbox shifts properly, and the brakes feel solid. It sits on a nice set of alloy wheels with usable tyres. All electrics work as they should, including the digital gear indicator and clock, and tucked away on the side is a classic 1980s detail — a built-in cigarette lighter.

Exterior condition
It’s a very presentable bike with no signs of rust, dents, or damage. The paintwork is in nice condition with only a few small age-related marks. As mentioned, you can see where the plastic was repaired on the upper left near the wind deflector, but it doesn’t stand out unless you look closely. There are a few small plastic cracks around the rev counter. The original handlebar grips are in good condition and feature heated grips. It also comes with the nice double-sided BMW storage boxes.

General condition
Nice and fun summer bike that’s ready to ride. These bikes have also become very popular for Café Racer conversions thanks to their bulletproof engines and the wide range of bolt-on parts available. Hopefully this one will stay original, given its low mileage and well-documented ownership history.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
