Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

No renovations work needed. The brakes were overlooked last fall, the tires are probably starting to get a little old. ACC and cruise control work just like everything else in the car. It could easily function as a daily commuter car, if you wish. A little oil on the left side of the engine. 2.3 liter 16 V engine with 146 hp (107 kW) ACC, leather upholstery and cruise control. 5-speed manual box.

  • Interior condition:

Extremely good condition also in the interior. The only problem is that the inner headliner has started to loosen above the driver.

  • Exterior condition:

Everything is original and in excellent condition as shown by the pictures. No rust, never welded, with a straight and nice body.

  • General condition:

This Saab looks like it was only a few months since it rolled out from the factory.

Facts about the model

The Saab 9000 was launched in 1984 and marked a new step for Saab's car manufacturing and showed the company's intentions to move into a new segment to become more competitive. The press paid tribute to the model for, among other things, interior spaces, driving characteristics and safety. The Saab 9000 had the ignition switch on the right side of the steering wheel. Thus, the last Saab where the start key or the start button is not located between the front seats. It was also the first Saab with a transverse engine. 9000 was developed in close collaboration with FIAT, which produced the sibling models Fiat Croma, Lancia Thema and Alfa Romeo 164.
