Description
Engine: 6.6 liter Buick Nailhead 401 with original Power-pack. Automatic, electric windows, and other features are available. A previous owner who purchased the car brand new in Hollywood on October 3, 1962. When the car was new, the convertible top was folded down only once. The owner was "kidnapped" at some traffic lights (a stranger jumped into the car and put a knife to her neck and forced her to drive him.) She never dared to lower the roof again after that. The hood fabric was replaced in the early 1980s, the car was repainted in its original color. This was done at a Buick workshop, according to the owner's son (90 years old). Throughout its lifetime, the car was serviced on a regular basis and otherwise competely untouched
The car was parked for about 35 years in a garage in Passadena, California.
In 2018, the current owner purchased it directly from the owner's son, and it was imported to Sweden, where it was registered and inspected/MOT without any issues. The current owner has carried out the following work: “White walls” tires have been added to the mix. New brake shoes, all wheel cylinders, brake hoses, and fluid, master cylinder replaced (in USA) Cab cylinders that have been restored Oils were changed, and the exhaust system was partially replaced. The cardan's support bearing has been replaced. Except for the fuel tank gauges (which work occasionally) and the radio, everything works.."

Buick Invicta andra generation är den sista modellen av Invicta och hade produktion 1961 tills 1963. Precis som första generationen Invicta fanns det fyra olika karosser 2-dörrar, cabriolet och hardtopp, 4-dörrar hardtop och station wagon. Objektet ovan är en Buick Invicta cab med den stora 6.6L Nailhead V8 och 2-speed Turbine drive automat växellåda.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
