Description
He was a genuine Saab enthusiast who took great care of the car. It was always properly garaged, regularly maintained locally and mainly used for short local journeys. The low mileage of 118,959 km is supported by the older online inspection records. The family is still searching for the service history, but at present no service book or invoices are included.
Just as importantly, the car remains very solid with no major rust issues. Specification includes air conditioning and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat.
On the road it drives very well. The only warning displayed is a service reminder, which disappears shortly after starting. It is also fitted with newer tyres and comes with a complete additional set of alloy wheels with winter tyres.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
The engine starts instantly and runs smoothly with no unusual noises. On the road it is comfortable, stable and easy to drive, with a smooth gearshift, good clutch and strong brakes. Push it a little harder and the turbo pulls strongly, giving plenty of performance when needed.
New tyres have recently been fitted, and the car also comes with a complete set of alloy winter wheels with good tyres. -
Interior condition
Great colour combination with a black exterior and beige interior, giving the car a smart and distinctive look. The cabin has been well preserved with no significant damage. The front seats have a few light stains that should improve considerably with a simple fabric shampoo, while the rear seats look almost like new.
Electric windows, mirrors, driver’s seat, radio and AC all work as they should, and importantly, the information displays show no pixel problems. Headliner, door cards and carpets are all in good condition, with only the interior roof-light lens missing.
A thorough clean and detail would make this already well-kept interior look even better. -
Exterior condition
Very solid body with no major rust issues. The only point to note is around 3 cm of light surface rust on the inner wheel arch, caused by stone chips. The clean underbody and overall condition suggest the car has seen very little winter use.
The bodywork is straight overall, apart from an approximately 15 cm dent on the edge of the passenger-side front wing. The black paintwork presents well, with a light scuff and scratches on the rear bumper plus a few small scratches and stone chips around the car.
Nothing major – a good machine polish and detail would really lift the car and make it present even better. -
General condition
This car delivers everything you need from a comfortable yet sporty summer daily driver. With its low mileage, solid condition and long-term enthusiast ownership, good examples like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The Saab 9-3 is already becoming a modern classic, making this an interesting car to enjoy now and keep for the future.
