Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

Completely restored about 15 years ago. The paint is in great condition, having been spared from salted roads. The engine has been fully rebuilt, and the fuel pump was recently replaced. The brakes work well, though the pedal sits a bit low. The engine runs smoothly, and the 5-speed gearbox shifts nicely. New tires have been installed.

  • Interior condition:

The overall impression of the interior is very good. The carpets, door panels, and headliner are in good condition. There is a tear in the driver’s seat (see photo). The rear seat is flawless but not the same color as the front seats. However, the front seats have red covers that harmonize with the rear seat. All instrument functions are working properly.

  • Exterior condition:

No visible damage and a nice shine to the paint. The chrome details are in good condition. Stylish Cromodora wheels, as expected on this fine Italian car. There is a scratch on the front windshield (not in the field of vision); otherwise, the windows and seals are in good shape.

  • General condition:

This rare Fiat model is in very good condition for regular use. It’s believed that only around 20 of these with the 100-horsepower engine exist in Sweden.

Owner's comment

A rare model that attracts attention at classic car meets around the country. Most 125's have long since rusted away. Unfortunately, I have to sell it due to having too many cars and too little space.

Facts about the model

In 1969, the 125 Special was introduced, featuring a 100 hp engine achieved through upgraded camshafts, exhaust manifolds, and carburetors. It was also one of the first cars to have intermittent wipers, which would later become standard in all vehicles. Other improvements included a 5-speed gearbox, halogen headlights, power brakes with dual circuits, lower suspension, enhanced ventilation, ultra-light magnesium wheels, and both interior and exterior cosmetic updates.
