Description
This motorcycle was utilised for the first 3000 kilometres in the Strängnäs Police School. There are some traces of this, such as a radio mounting, cylinder protection and a 12 V electrical system. The motorcycle is outfitted with a Watsonian GP sport sidecar that was acquired in England in 1978. The curb weight is 95, the maximum load is 85, and the number of passengers is one.
The engine was replaced in 1979 and comes from a 1976 R90S. The rear gear is R69S-specific.
The universal joint is from the R90S, however it has been modified at the back end to accept the R69 carrier. This R60's original front fork has been somewhat modified. It is around 30 mm curved forward. This is done to make the bike easier to handle. The generator's rotor has been replaced, and everything but the primary lamp is LED. The electrical system was custom-built to accommodate the R90 engine and controllers. Original steering wheel and controls are included. There are also original indications included. In addition, as seen in the images, a spare window for the sidecar, Krauser panniers, and a top box with holder are supplied. It was originally mounted on the bike.Sidecar spare tyre and brakes. The brake was never installed. In 2020, a new battery was installed. At the same time, the carburetors were serviced and a Boyer Bransden electronic ignition system was installed. It has been inspected and is ready for new adventures.
