The owner shares the following about the motorcycle:
Husqvarna's four-stroke models began production in 1983, initially as air-cooled. In 1987, they switched to liquid-cooling and added a single shock absorber at the rear, and the production was discontinued in Sweden. Bikes sold as 1988 models received improvements, such as a better rear suspension linkage, Brembo front brakes, and a different design for the tank and radiator wings.
The current owner is the second owner of the motorcycle. The first owner had only test-driven it, so the bike looked brand new. This specific motorcycle left the factory on December 30, 1987 (see the certificate accompanying it).
When the owner purchased the bike, it had a Supertrapp exhaust system installed, which, combined with the two-stroke airbox and side panels, makes the bike narrower and the saddle fits better. The Husqvarna has the engine and frame from the enduro model (TE) and the suspension from the motocross model (TC). This is considered the best combination, with a 6-speed engine and the superior White Power front fork and Öhlins damper at the rear, both offering slightly longer suspension travel than the enduro model. It is not clear if the bike was originally ordered this way or assembled with parts before production ceased.
A UNIC steering damper has been fitted to counteract wobbling and handlebar impacts. The bike was registered and road-tested in 1989 (registered as an enduro bike with dispensation for the speedometer and indicators).
The motorcycle has a single-cylinder 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine, 503 cc, producing around 50 horsepower with a 6-speed transmission. There is no odometer or hour meter. It was ridden and competed with from 1988 to 1993, and since then, it has been started occasionally for maintenance.
The bike is in very good condition. The owner has serviced and maintained it more than they have ridden it, with more frequent oil changes than recommended. The cooling jacket has been replaced, the part where the cylinder liner is pressed in. The original was made of magnesium alloy, which deteriorated with coolant leakage. The new one is made of aluminum, an original Husqvarna part. The rear shock absorber has been refurbished, and the engine and gearbox are in good working order, starting easily.
It is ready to kick-start and take on training or competition! Some parts have been renovated to a non-original condition, but all original parts come with the bike, including the exhaust system, side panels, airbox, and chain guard, all of which are in very good condition.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
