"A well-maintained car in excellent working condition."

Description

This Chrysler was restored by the previous owner during the late 1960s and into the 1970s, during which it also received a new paint job. The previous owner's wife used the car quite frequently in the 1970s for everyday errands, such as going to the store and taking the children to the beach in the summers. In the 1980s, the owner put the car on display at the Säters Bil and Mc-museum, operated by the Dalarnes Automobilklubb, where the owner of the Chrysler was an active member. The current owner purchased the car in 1992 and moved it from the museum. It then received new tires with white sidewalls, the brakes were refurbished, and the car underwent inspection to be put back into traffic. In 1995, the speedometer underwent refurbishment, and the cable to the meter was replaced. The interior handle of the driver's door was replaced with a new one made of cast brass and nickel-plated to match the original. A wooden trunk has been mounted on the back of the car. There is a DAK (Dalarnes Automobilklubb) badge mounted on the hood in front of the windshield, although it's unclear why, possibly because there were already holes there from previous installations. The original upholstery has some small holes on the driver's seat, and protective covers and blankets have been used to protect the rest of the upholstery. The Chrysler has mainly been used for short trips during the summers and to chauffeur bridal couples, students, and participants at various events. The car has been well taken care of since the 1980s and has always been stored in a dry, frost-free place, protected from dirt and dust. An instruction book in Swedish for the 1927 Chrysler model 50 is included, as well as other documentation in a folder. Additionally, spare parts such as an engine, radiator with grille, front and rear axles, loose wheels, and five spare tires are included with the car, as shown in the pictures.
