Description
Bilen kom hem till Sverige 1984 med en Thailändsk ägare. För att få den godkänd i Sverige fick motorn bytas ut hos Volvo tjänstebilsavdelning. För klara svenska krav hamnade en förgasarmotor i bilen, samt att bakaxeln fick ny utväxling. Den typades om s om en GL. Alla kvitton och dokumentation runt detta finns.
Nästa gång bilen dyker upp i historiken är 1997 i Norrköping. Här kom den stanna hos samma ägare ända fram till 2018. Runt 2007 renoverades bilen, En del plåt byttes ut som bakre skärmkanter , reservhjulsbaljor med mera samt hellackering. Allt detta är också dokumenterat. Efter det har bilen använts i rätt liten utsträckning - så även hos nuvarande ägare som är Volvoentusiast.
Mätarhus har någon gång bytts ut, vägmästaren står på drygt 10 000 mil men är i verkligheten på närmare 30 000.

Mechanical condition
Generously equipped and everything functions smoothly—except the A/C, where a bearing in the compressor is seizing. A Panasonic radio was installed early on, but the original radio is also present, though not connected. A storage cubby intended to replace the newer radio is included—specifically designed for a right-hand drive car.
The engine and gearbox are without fault, and the power steering feels very light and smooth. It may be time to inspect some of the front suspension bushings. -
Interior condition
The most striking feature is the leather upholstery. There is some wear, including a small hole in the driver’s seat, while the rest of the surfaces are in good condition—though the leather feels a bit dry. Overall, the interior is in very good shape, including carpets, door panels, dashboard, and other trim.

Exterior condition
Repainted in 2007, with some body panels replaced at the time. The repairs were professionally done. Overall, the impression is very good—though naturally, some signs of aging have appeared over the past 80 years. There are a few filler blisters on the trunk lid, some early signs of rust at the bottom edges of the rear fenders, and a few visible bubbles. Several new parts are included, such as a trunk emblem and shiny trim rings around the handles, among others.

General condition
In many ways an interesting car in a practical, usable condition. A wealth of documentation is included—inspection reports, receipts, and more—as well as some additional parts to help further enhance the car’s finish.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
