Description
Powered by a 3.2-litre V8 delivering 120PS to the rear wheels through a column-shifting four-speed manual transmission, this car belongs to the BMW 501 and 502 series, nicknamed ‘Barockengel’ (Baroque Angel) for their ornate design. Launched at the 1951 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 502 was the first post-war German car with a V8 engine, outperforming 4-cylinder Porsches and 6-cylinder Mercedes of that era.

Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Always serviced and kept in top condition by a BMW specialist in southern Sweden, this car runs and drives exceptionally well. It is inspection-exempt forever. The car features nice wheels, shiny hubcaps, and good tires.
-
Interior condition
The fully renovated interior, including the boot space, still looks wonderful with no damage. It's a great place to sit and enjoy the BMW quality and design from the late 1950s.
-

The older renovation has held up very well over time. The bodywork is straight, apart from a small dent on the passenger side rear wing, with no signs of rust damage, matching the clean and rust-free underbody. The paintwork is clean and shiny, with only a few minor scratches and paint blisters in places (see pictures). The chrome work all around is shiny and damage-free, except for some scratches and marks on the chrome trim around the sill from stepping in and out of the car.
-
General condition
This car is always kept in the best running and serviced condition possible and driven regularly during the summer months. Just hop in, turn the key, and you're ready for new adventures.
