Mechanical condition
The engine, transmission, and brakes function well, and the car is actually drivable—a good starting point. However, it could also serve as a parts car for someone in need of a solid donor vehicle.
The right front spring is broken and needs to be replaced. Given the damage to the right fender, wheel, and spring, it appears that a minor collision has occurred on that side, which is also supported by the documentation. -
Interior condition
A good base condition for the leather interior, which would benefit from cleaning and detailing. The driver’s side carpet is worn, while the others require cleaning.
The walnut and wood trim have held up well, except for the upper sections of the door panels, where the lacquer has cracked and flaked due to sun exposure.
In the trunk, something has leaked onto the carpet, causing discoloration. All removed parts are included. -
Exterior condition
The right front fender has been removed due to damage; a replacement is included with the car. The spare wheel is currently fitted on the right front, and the original wheel is loose. The center cap for that wheel is missing, while the others are present (see photo).
Otherwise, the current owner’s intention was to carry out a full respray and repair the right front corner, including the fender, wheel, and spring. -
General condition
In simple terms, a parts car—but also a drivable project for someone with the energy and know-how to see it through to completion.
Facts about the model
The Silver Spirit was the first Rolls-Royce where the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot would retract into the grille if someone attempted to steal it. The Silver Spur was produced in 6,264 examples between 1980 and 1989.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
