BMW 325i Cabriolet E36 — 1993

• Mechanical condition

  The car undergoes annual inspections and servicing, and it was recently upgraded with double catalysts from an M3, exhaust system is newer, along with two newer rear tires. During the test drive, the car performed well in all aspects—engine, gearbox, brakes, and handling. It has a valid inspection until June 30, 2024.

• Interior condition

  interior is presentable, featuring red leather seats that show some signs of wear, primarily on the driver's seat, which could benefit from a leather conditioner treatment. It has newer switches for the electric windows and added heater gauges. The electric windows and roof function well, although the side mirrors do not, as they are not standard. The car also includes a classic old BMW mobile phone. The glovebox closes but is a bit loose, while the carpets and door cards are in okay condition, albeit slightly creased near the locks (as seen in pictures). The rear seat boasts a custom-fitted ski tunnel solution. The inner headliner is loose and shows signs of wear.

• Exterior condition

  Originally calypsorot, as visible in the engine bay, the car has been repainted black and maintains a polished appearance, free from significant damage or rust. However, there are some minor rust bubbles and stone chips along the wing edges. The Lamborghini-style door struts are due for replacement, as they're not folding up correctly—new ones would cost around 1600 SEK. The convertible roof is in good condition, and the car also includes a complete new roof, frame, and headliner that can be easily bolted on. Overall, the paintwork has a nice, shiny finish, and the underbody appears tidy, although it's somewhat difficult to inspect thoroughly due to the car's low stance. The rear spoiler displays a few paint bubbles.

• General condition

  You essentially have two choices: first, maintain the car as it is and relish owning a custom car that attracts attention; or second, consider lifting the suspension and removing the boot spoiler to dial back its styling. Either option remains appealing, as at its core, it's a BMW 325—a model renowned for its attractiveness and enjoyable driving experience.

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
