Description
The current owner acquired the car in 2019 and, inspired by a background in karting, set out to convert it into a rally car. Due to time constraints and limited support, the project was completed but never used in competitive events. The car was entrusted to a respected workshop in Småland, where it underwent a comprehensive rebuild and upgrade for rally use.
Mechanically, everything has been reviewed—engine, gearbox, brakes, and running gear—with worn components replaced. It is now equipped with front disc brakes, upgraded suspension and reinforced front end for rally driving. The exhaust system has been replaced, and the interior fitted with bucket racing seats, 5-point harnesses, full roll cage, alloy door cards, and a custom diamond-plate driver’s floor.
The engine bay is clean and well presented, running twin SU carburettors and producing an estimated 140 hp. While exact specifications are not confirmed, it is likely fitted with an upgraded camshaft (S or K cam). The car starts easily, runs strong, and feels solid on the road with smooth gear changes.
Bodywork is solid throughout with no dents or rust issues, and the underbody has recently been treated with Dinitrol.
A very well-built and sensibly priced car—replicating this build today would easily exceed 200,000 SEK plus significant time. This example is ready to go: whether for rally stages, hill climbs, or simply enjoying on the road, it delivers both performance and presence, drawing attention wherever it goes.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Starts easily with a touch of choke and settles after a few minutes of warm-up. The engine runs strong with no unusual noises. Drives well and stable, with smooth gear shifts and solid brakes. Engine bay is clean and well presented, and the boot area is equally tidy. Fully FIA App. K registered (valid until 2033), road registered and inspection-exempt.
-
Interior condition
Interior is exactly as expected—fully stripped and rally-prepared for weight saving. Fitted with a full roll cage, two new bucket seats with 5-point harnesses, and electric kill switches both inside and externally.
The dashboard remains largely standard, complemented by an additional rev counter and oil pressure gauge, along with a small alloy 3-spoke steering wheel. The gearbox rubber gaiter would benefit from replacement or improved fitment. Also equipped with fire extinguishers. An additional fuel gauge is mounted on the rear parcel shelf—functionality unconfirmed. -
Exterior condition
Bodywork is solid throughout with no dents, damage or rust issues—full steel panels, no fiberglass. The underbody is equally solid, with some older welding visible in the floors and recently treated with Dinitrol.
Paintwork is clean and presentable with only minor marks and light scratches. Fitted with custom wide mudguards all round, adding to its rally stance.
Chrome trim is bright and tidy, complemented by an auxiliary light bar mounted on the front bumper. Sits on black steel wheels in good condition with good tyres, finished with subtle Bilsport decals and race number 84 on the doors. -
General condition
The perfect entry into rallying—or simply enjoy it as an exciting road car. Either way, it delivers. Sensibly priced considering the time, effort, and cost involved in building a car to this level today.
