"A first-generation Jetta in a neat condition."

Description

This is a very late first generation Jetta in good condition, and quite an uncommon model on the roads nowadays, additionally equipped with a sunroof. This Jetta was originally sold in Switzerland and delivered to the owner for travel to and from their summer cabin in northern Sweden. So almost all the mileage on the odometer was accumulated between Bern and a village outside of Ostersund. After a few years, the car was retired as a long-distance vehicle, and when the owner obtained Swedish citizenship, the car was imported and registered in Sweden and mainly used as a summer car. The car has hardly been used during winter except for this winter when the current owner used the Jetta in good weather for trips to and from the local store. When the first owner passed away about 2 years ago, the mechanic who serviced the car took it over. He inspected the car and stored it in the garage until the current owner purchased it last year. At that time, it had just been serviced with new spark plug wires, plugs, and other maintenance items, and also received a new timing belt about 7 months and 50 miles ago. Four rims without tires are included.
