Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

Starts easily and has a nice and even engine sound. The underside has not been checked, but it appears to be in good condition. During test drive, it felt quiet and steady.

  • Interior condition:

In original condition without wear or damage. Seats and rear seat have been carefully used and door panels, roof etc are in very good condition. Everything seems to work as it should. Integrated stereo radio with cassette player. The display is not completely intact, as is also the case with the display for heat and fresh air.

  • Exterior condition:

Nice original paint job, with glass, plastic, and rubber parts also in good condition. The wheels are in great shape and equipped with good Bridgestone tires. There are some signs of wear and tear from use, but overall it is a really nice example.

  • General condition:

It's now the time to invest in nice Youngtimers, often models that were a common sight on our roads just a short while ago, but are now disappearing rapidly and suddenly becoming rare. This Saab is a fine example, well worth entering the world of enthusiasts and classic car lovers. Not just because Saab has become a cult brand, but simply because it's a very good car. Definitely worth taking care of.

Facts about the model

Saab 9-3 followed the naming convention of the 9-5 model. The new 9-3 was a further development of Saab's 900 model which was launched as a model year 1993.

The first generation of the new 9-3 model, which was manufactured from 1998 to 2003, was primarily a facelift of the previous 900 model. It featured a new bumper design, grille, and revised rear end, partly following a similar concept to the larger 9-5 model. The chassis and safety features were also updated. Body styles included three- and five-door hatchbacks as well as a popular convertible. In addition, a high-performance special model, the Viggen, was produced. The 9-3 was a relatively popular mid-size car that was both practical and enjoyable to drive with fine handling and classic Saab feel.

As we all know, there were several updates before the Saab era ended in 2015 with the final version produced under the leadership of Nevs.
