Description
This car was in the Gävle area until the end of the 1990s, when it was sold. The car was stored in a dry barn in 1994 until 2020, when it was removed and serviced. It's in excellent, untouched original condition. Original paint and a nice interior. There are some minor rust blisters on the front wings and lower edges, but nothing major. There is some surface rust in stone chips in the front and sides. It needs to be polished and waxed, but it is very nice as is.
Because the VW mark in the front was loose, it ended up in the hand compartment (note, unfortunately the bonnet is not really closed when shooting). The mileage has a value of just under 2,000 km (19,841km). We estimate the car's total mileage to be 12,000 km (11,9841km).

Mechanical condition
It starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine runs nicely and shifts well. However, the brakes are in poor condition. After a long period of inactivity, it must be fixed.

Interior condition
Untouched, it looks good but could be even better with a little cleaning. Normally worn on the upholstery of the driver's seat for the mileage 10-150,000 km.

Exterior condition
Stone chips with surface rust on the paint and a small amount of rust on the bumper's chrome. See photos for some rust blisters in the inner wings in front of the luggage compartment, below the hood hinges. Overall, this is a very nice car with minor rust spots.

A very good unrenovated type 3. Spend some time and money on polishing and paint touch up, as well as brakes and service, and you will have a fantastic car.
