Volkswagen Beach Buggy 1200 — 1965

It's an older rebuild that works fine. It's a lot of fun to drive and in good shape.

Description

It is a lot of fun to drive, and its first 14 years, this car was a regular VW beetle from 1965. The body was then removed, the base plate was shortened by 15 cm, and the Buggy body was installed. The buggy was finished in 1980. SFRO inspected it and approved it as a converted vehicle. The documents are included but it must be inspected for registration and again before it can be used on the road. The car was then owned by the owner until 1984. And after two more owners, all of whom lived in Härnösand before the current owner purchased the car in 2010, to drive their children to the beach in the summer, and so on.
The Beach-Buggy is one of the most enjoyable summer vehicles. The VW engine in the rear means that it performs well and produces a pleasant sound when driving with a sports exhaust system. The car has also been displayed as a symbol of summer cars and the hippie era at the Car Museum in Härnösand.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

A faulty battery, but it can be started with a jump start. Since 2016, it has been dormant. It is necessary to conduct a control inspection.

  • Interior condition:

Seat cushions that have become worn. The rest is fine.

  • Exterior condition:

Although in good condition, cleaning and waxing would not go amiss. Otherwise, nothing to say.

  • General condition:

For those in need of a buggy, this is a good option. There's nothing strange about it. Simply honk and drive (and polish a little).

Facts about the model
