Motala Motormuseum needs to free up some space and now time to sells this stylish Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II. This very nice right hand drive car that was import from England to Sweden in 1983.
The car has chassis numbers the SXC645 has probably never been renovated, but may have been re painted many years ago. The paint is solid matt black with patina and some insignificant small scratches, otherwise looks very fresh. The interior leather work has also been aged in style without much wear, the same with the fine woodwork trim. This is a car has been carefully kept and feels very solid.
This Silver Cloud II was purchased for Motala Motor Museum in 2009. Since then, it has been on display and used for a few weddings. Underneath the hood is the classic V8 of 6.2 liters, however, the number of horse power is a secret that only Rolls Royce knows.
Silver Cloud was introduced in 1955 and soon became one of Rolls-Royce's major successes. The model became the first with bodywork developed directly for the car and Silver Cloud sold very well. Silver Cloud II still has the beautiful front with single lights and big V8 under the hood. For viewing, please contact museum boss Johan Rahm, phone: 070-81 58 888. The car is displayed in Motala at the museum's normal regular opening hours.

The car runs well, a solid car that does not feel tired. The gearbox has been refurbished and the gearbox may need a final adjustment.

Facts about the model
The Silver Cloud II was introduced in 1959. It was little changed externally, but was given a new Rolls-Royce developed 6.2 L V8 engine, which pushed the weight to 2.11 tonnes. Performance was greatly improved and top speed was raised to 183 km/h (114 mph), but the main improvements were in acceleration and torque. Power steering became standard. Electrically operated windows were now available as an option.
The Motor magazine tested a Series II in 1960. They recorded a top speed of 104.7 mph (168.5 km/h), acceleration from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 10.9 seconds and a fuel consumption of 13 miles per imperial gallon (22 L/100 km; 11 mpg?US). The test car cost £6092 including taxes.
