Original condition, mostly original paint. The fenders are repainted in the eighties in original colour-tone. Traces of an old parking damage can bee seen inside in the front. Bumper and holder are repaired, in the way they did this in the seventies. On the panels around the place for the sparewheel this is still to bee seen, if you look very carefully. Paint on the front-lid and inside is original.

Facts about the model
Året 1963 då Folkvagnen fick innertaket av ljus galonplast, och från januari blev det friskluftsvärme via en värmeväxlare monterad på avgassystemet. Vid det här laget hade Volkswagenverk gjort nästan 2 000 ändringar sedan produktionen kom igång igen på allvar 1946. 1948 kom de första till Sverige. 1962 kom 34 Hkr motorn som var en helt ny konstruktion (som många anser vara den bästa motorn). Den användes i VW bilarna som byggdes i Sydamerika ända fram till 1996.
1963 kom även ny näsa på bakluckan men bilen behåller fortfarande de gamla lite mindre sidorutorna som ger ett mycket klassiskt intryck, detta försvann året efter.
