Mechanical condition
Duramax LB7 turbodiesel V8 - 6.6L with stated power of 304hp. 4wd, and 5-speed Allison 1000 automatic gearbox. Starts immediately and goes well. A short test drive was made in connection with the photography, with no remarks after this. No expense was spared and a well-serviced vehicle, according to the enclosed documentation.

Interior condition
The leather interior is in good condition, better than normal after 20 years and 20O,000 km. Wear is on the driver's seat. See pictures. Plenty of space in the double cabin. Adjustable steering wheel, electric seats, electric windows. Equipped with a retrofitted reverse camera.

Exterior condition
Double cab and 6-foot long bed with cab insert and cover. Straight and nice body. Good paint. Expensive professional anti-corrosion treatment at a cost of SEK 12,000 according to the receipt in the accompanying folder.

General condition
This pickup is a superb workhorse with top-of-the-line equipment and is well-maintained. It does not appear to have travelled 200,000 kilometres, and with such a powerful engine, it should last for many more miles.

Facts about the model
Chevrolets pickupmodeller har blivit en del av den amerikanska självbilden. Den är tänkt att fungera för en cowboys vardagsliv på ranchen, likväl som en praktisk andrabil för den amerikanska medelklassen. Namnet Silverado användes på GM redan 1975, på pickuperna med högst utrustnings- och komfortnivå på C- och K-serien. Den fjärde och sista generationen av C/K-serien tillverkades mellan 1988 och 2002.
Motortypen Duramax togs fram i samarbete mellan Isuzu och General Motors. GM var tvungen att få fram en värdig utmanare till Fords 7,3L Power Stroke och Dodges 5,9L cummins. 1997 inleddes samarbetet med Isuzu som 3 år senare resulterade i Duramax 6,6L även kallad LB7. Resultatet blev en direktinsprutad, turbomatad och 32-ventilers V8. Med drygt 300 hästkrafter och ett vridmoment på 520 lb-ft. Duramax ersatte 2001 den föråldrade IDI 6.5L motorn.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
