"The beautiful color combination of the car is very unusual, and it certainly attracts attention."

Description

The car was imported in 2000 by a couple of doctors in Karlstad. They owned and drove the car until 2019 when a new owner took over. The current owner is the third owner of the vehicle. The car is likely repainted, probably before 2011. In 2011, a paint treatment was done by MrCap. The car has not been driven for quite some time and requires a simple start-up service. However, it was registered and inspected on 2022-08-23. The car’s electric convertible top is temporarily non-functional and needs to be repaired if you want to use it in the down position.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

The six-cylinder engine purrs beautifully in true BMW fashion, and the 5-speed automatic transmission works flawlessly. The car accelerates like a cannonball.

The electric convertible top is not functioning, and the AC couldn’t be tested in the low morning temperatures, but expect a recharge since the car has been sitting for a while. All other functions in the car work properly. The brakes perform evenly and well. During the test drive, there were some vibrations in the car, which improved after a few kilometers. The car has been stationary for six months, so it’s likely due to flat spots on the tires.

  • Interior condition:

The interior is in very good condition. However, the leather upholstery could benefit from a treatment to look its best. The driver’s seat, in particular, shows some wear and patina.

  • Exterior condition:

The paint is in good condition, although there are a few minor stone chips. There is a small damage under the trim on the passenger door that looks like it could be from a bicycle pedal or something similar. It’s a small area that could be repainted if desired.

  • General condition:

The beautiful color combination of the car is very unusual, and it certainly attracts attention. There are minor touch-ups needed regarding the finish, but overall, it’s in good shape. The issue with the electric convertible top has been identified.

Owner's comment

A car that can become truly beautiful with just a few minor improvements. It features an unusual exterior color that pairs nicely with the light beige leather interior. This car stands out for anyone looking for an affordable BMW convertible.
