"Luckily, everything is just stuck on and fully removable—inside and out—with a heat gun or even a hair dryer. Perfect summer job for the kids if they’re looking to earn some extra pocket money! I’ve also added a few older photos from a previous ad to show how the car looked before the artistic transformation."

Description

Let’s be honest—if you’re willing to peel off everything and return the car to its original glory, you’ve got yourself a bargain. We’ve set the reserve at a very attractive price, factoring in a few days of therapeutic peeling time. Think of it as part restoration, part arts-and-crafts project.

The underbody and panels have been thoroughly bathed in underseal—so thoroughly, in fact, that we’re fairly confident it’ll never rust. And that’s not just our opinion; it earned a rare "5-star" rating at its last vehicle inspection.

Originally sold new in Belgium, the car was imported to Sweden in 2017. It had an insurance claim back in 2011 (details unknown) and has had a total of four owners, including the current one. Two of those were Jaguar specialists—one being Joe’s Garage—and prior to that, it was owned by a passionate Jaguar enthusiast.

Over the years, significant work has been done, including a new headliner and, most importantly, replacement of the timing chain tensioners.

And underneath the stickers? One of the most comfortable cars you’ll ever drive. As a Daimler, it comes with extra luxurious leather, high-grade wood trim, plush carpets, and a long wheelbase. Paired with the smooth and powerful 4.0-liter V8 producing 284 hp, it offers a driving experience that’s as refined as it is effortless.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

The car starts instantly and runs and drives well, with no warning lights. The engine feels strong, the automatic gearbox shifts smoothly, and the brakes perform well. The AC works, as do the electric windows, mirrors, sunroof, radio, and seats—though the height adjustment on the driver’s seat is not functioning.
Central locking works on all doors except the rear left passenger door, which needs to be opened manually. There are a few loose plastic covers in the engine bay. The car is inspected and approved until 2026-04-30 and is ready to be driven home

  • Interior condition:

Interior hasn't escaped the unique stick-on theme either—though I must admit, the homage to the Queen on the glovebox is a fun touch. Just like the exterior, it will require some dedicated peel time, followed by a bit of chemical help to remove sticker residue from the trim and leather. Overall, everything appears complete with no obvious damage or missing parts.

  • Exterior condition:

Bodywork appears generally sound, with no obvious damage or signs of rust—thanks in large part to extensive undersealing. While the sills might look like they’ve been filled with body filler in the photos, it’s actually underseal that’s been applied and then sprayed gold. That area will need attention. The rest of the underbody looks solid. There is a dent and some damage to the front bumper on the right-hand side. As for the paintwork, the areas not covered by stickers appear to be in good condition.

  • General condition:

If you can see past all the extras and are willing to invest the time and effort to peel everything off, you’ve just scored yourself a bargain luxury car. Or, if you happen to work for Panduro—feel free to keep adding!
