Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

The engine starts easily and runs well with an aftermarket Weber 32/36 carburetor. The gearbox and the rest of the drivetrain are in normal condition with no unusual noises. The valve cover gasket is leaking. The hose to the fan is damaged—see photos. Brakes are in normal condition. All lights and other gauges are functioning. The ignition lock and ignition coil are aftermarket. There are two ignition keys, as well as keys for the left front door and the rear door.

  • Interior condition:

A skilled carpenter has fitted the car’s interior panels with wood, and it has been done nicely. The door handles are carved from wood, as are the gear shift knob and the mount for the interior dome light—see photos. However, the panels above the front doors are missing. The headliner is intact and in relatively good condition, though it fits poorly in some areas—see photos. The dashboard is in normal condition. Both the front seats and rear bench are in standard condition. The car is equipped with retractable seat belts in both the front and rear. The carpets show normal wear.

  • Exterior condition:

The entire car has been wrapped, and the original paint color underneath is a light gray-blue with Volvo code 66. The condition of the paint cannot be fully assessed, but there are almost no visible bubbles under the wrap that would indicate rust damage. The doors and panel gaps are in normal condition. The door handles sag slightly, which is also considered normal for a used Duett or PV. The wrap was applied by a professional company, but there are areas—primarily at the front—where seams and minor misalignments are visible, see photos. The roof rack has been cut at the front, but the removed section is included—see photo. There are no visible signs of dents or body repairs, and the chassis shows no major rust damage. The front bumper has some rust spots in the form of pitting in the chrome.

  • General condition:

The car is in good condition and can be restored to its original appearance.
