The fact that it's a 1966 model is primarily recognized by the emblems on the sides and rear, which have a more angular design. They were only present on this model year. Additionally, the 1966 model year was relatively short, as production of the 544 continued only until the end of October the same year. After that, production capacity was needed for the successful introduction of the 140 series. This particular car was registered on February 8, 1966, making it one of the last ones produced. It was originally sold by Forslunds in Piteå on January 31, 1966, and has had owners in Piteå, Älvsbyn, and Lycksele over the years. The documentation is exemplary, as shown in the pictures.
The body is in great condition, with only a few older repairs found in the trunk area. The paintwork is excellent, with a precise fit. The interior is original, with newly reupholstered seats and new door panels. The engine bay remains untouched, although the engine has reportedly been renovated in the past. The odometer reading is 39 000 km, and given the condition and older documentation, the car may have covered either 139 000 or 239 000 km. However, it doesn't feel like a vehicle with high mileage when driving it. The car feels and appears to have covered just over 100 000 km.

It starts without any delay. The engine has good acceleration. The gearbox, clutch, and brakes are all in good condition. Everything feels fresh and well-maintained. It's a car that can be driven every day during the summer months.

The interior is intact and fresh. The only remark is the faded gray paint on the speedometer instrument, which is quite common for these models.

- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.

- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
